Christmas Food Distribution
In December 2025, AmiZone carried out a Christmas food distribution initiative aimed at supporting vulnerable families and children during the festive season.
Through this project, we reached over 26 families, providing essential food items to help ease the burden of the season. Food packs were distributed to 10 families in the Awori Community and to 15 pupils of Methodist Primary School, who took the items home to support their households.
Each food pack contained staple items such as rice, cooking oil, tomato paste, seasoning cubes, and spices.
This initiative was more than food relief. It was a reminder that families in underserved communities are seen, valued, and supported especially during moments that should be filled with dignity and hope.
Pad Distribution & Abuse Awareness Program
In November 2025, AmiZone officially launched its school-based intervention initiative with the first phase of pad distribution and abuse awareness programs across three government primary schools in Surulere, Lagos.
This inaugural program reached 43 children, marking the beginning of AmiZone’s long-term commitment to education, prevention, and early intervention within school communities.
Beyond distributing menstrual pads, the sessions provided age-appropriate education on:
- Menstrual health and puberty
- Body autonomy and personal boundaries
- Emotional awareness and self-confidence
- Recognizing grooming and unsafe behavior
- Speaking up and knowing where to seek help
By combining menstrual support with critical safety education, the program addressed both physical needs and the deeper issues of vulnerability, silence, and lack of awareness that often expose children to abuse.
This launch set the foundation for AmiZone’s ongoing work in schools, creating safe spaces where children can learn, ask questions, and feel empowered to protect themselves.
